Dear International Students:

2024-2025学年寒假放假时间为2025年1月11日至2025年2月14日。2月15-16日报到注册，2月17日开始上课。为确保大家假期安全，国际教育学院现将国际学生寒假注意系列事项提醒如下，请认真阅读并相互告知。

The winter vacation for the 2024-2025 academic year is from January 11, 2025 to February 14, 2025. Registration will be on February 15-16, and classes will resume on February 17. To ensure everyone's safety during the vacation, School of International Education would like to remind you the following series of tips. Please read carefully and inform each other.

1.通过正规渠道购买车票、机票、景区票以及预订酒店，拒绝搭乘超载、非法营运车辆。遵守交通法规，注意交通安全。

Purchase train tickets, air tickets, scenic area tickets and book hotels through official channels. Refuse to take overloaded or illegally operated vehicles. Obey traffic rules and pay attention to traffic safety.

2.选择正规的、具有经营资质的旅行商，选择有旅游标志、已开发的景区游览，不要深入未开发的或自然条件恶劣的区域。不在危险水域附近逗留，不进入封冻的河道、水库等区域。

Choose legitimate and qualified travel agents. Choose scenic spots with tourism signs and developed areas for sightseeing, and do not venture into undeveloped areas or areas with harsh natural conditions. Do not linger near dangerous waters, and do not enter frozen rivers, reservoirs, and other areas.

3.冬季出游，避开低温、雨雪、冰冻等恶劣天气，做好防寒保暖。驾乘机动车出游时，途中全程系好安全带，必要时做好防滑等安全保护措施。

Avoid traveling during extreme weather conditions such as low temperatures, rain, snow, or freezing weather, remember to keep warm. When traveling by motor vehicle, fasten your seat belt and take necessary safety measures such as anti-skid if necessary.

4.谨慎参与高空、高速、水上、潜水、探险等高风险项目，根据个人年龄、健康等状况量力而行。

Be cautious when participating in high-risk activities such as extreme sports, high-speed activities, water sports, scuba diving, or exploration. Act within your capacity based on personal age, health, and other conditions.

5.旅途中要注意财物安全，妥善保管贵重物品和重要证件。不要向不明身份的人汇款或转账，不要将自己的信息告诉陌生人。

During the journey, it is important to pay attention to the safety of property and properly keep valuable items and important documents. Do not remit or transfer money to unidentified individuals, and do not disclose your information to strangers.
